Lack of Posting

My lack of posting has been awful. I am just not in a groove lately. Evan has been teething badly and is having trouble communicating lately. It's been hard, to say the least. I better get in a groove soon though, because school starts in a couple of weeks.

We're Moved

I will post again soon, promise.

For now, we are still putting things away in the new apartment and figuring out how to adjust to the new surroundings. We now live in the #4 city in America, folks! : )

Edible Playdough Fun

Mini Vacay

Eric had a day off and he wanted to do SOMETHING, ANYTHING.. so that we weren't bored out of our minds looking at each other all day. So, Eric said HEY, let's go out of town for the day.. so we did! When we got home, Evan was just walking around playing and I snapped some pretty cute shots.

Sorry, a couple are sideways.. I don't know why it turns them sometimes and other times not.

Evster's Reign of Terror

First Popsicle

I made Evan some popsicles out of juice. He likes them. But he likes to put them on the ground. Hahaha! Then I let him play on the porch. I trust him with walking and not falling and cracking his head open now, so I am not so scared to just let him play.

Lakeview Splash Park Picnic

So I am totally catching up and hope to get a few posts of pictures in before the little man wakes up.. No promises though.. But I WILL catch up TODAY.

This is the Lakeview Splash Park. It is at the park that we now do Stoller Strides at. Water comes on at 10am. It is SOO cold. At first Evan was scared, but once he was wet, he just wanted to walk around and touch things. It was so cute. Then, we had a picnic and I realized that I needed some pictures!

Mother & Son Bonding

People often ask me "What do you do all day?" "What do you do with Evan?" Well, here's my answer. We play! We just do funny things. Today, we went to Party City and we tried on all the hats and glasses and then before bed tonight, I decided a swim dipe on his head might make some pretty funny moments. I couldn't stop laughing, it was so cute!

Haircut

Evan had his first haircut this week. It was slightly sad because he is still so little, but he needed it. His hair was halfway down his ears and has been getting in his eyes for a while now. He looked like a puppy. Eric finally convinced me that it was time. And I agreed. I wasn't as emotional about it as I thought that I was going to be. It wasn't like I was going to become more ready for it in a couple months. I was as ready as I could ever be. I caught the whole thing on video (though that is far too long to share). He was so good and didn't even flinch. Of course, he got to sit in a car and watch Elmo's World and hold a comb, so I think that helped a bit!
